About IQAC

In pursuance of its action plan for performance evaluation, assessment and accreditation, The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), proposes that every accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a quality sustenance measure.  Post-accreditation, institutions should channelize measures and efforts towards promoting holistic academic excellence including the peer committee recommendations

ABOUT OUR CAMPUS

Established in May 1955, the College of Agriculture, Vellayani, initially situated in the palace building of the former Travancore State's royal family, has emerged as a key institution for agricultural education. Offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the college introduced M.Sc. (Ag.) and PhD degrees in 1962 and 1965, respectively. The simultaneous development of the College farm provided essential field facilities for practical training and research, elevating its status among India's premier agricultural institutions. Integrated into the Agricultural University in 1972, the college has become a vital hub for agricultural research and education in the Southern State, emphasizing hands-on training for students in crop cultivation and field challenges.
